I love Valheim, and have 100"s of hours in it. Once you get some new gear and learn the mobs, it's actually a really fun biome. Most of the dungeons are in the basement of mob infested towers. Again, bonemass buff and healing potions help here. At least one of those seekers will be a one or two star seeker. The dungeons aren't always easy to find and they are always guarded by 4+ seekers. You'll need to find and explore the new dungeons in order to build the new crafting stations in order to build the new stuff.And, unlike other biomes, I found it was more important to make the new weapons, foods, and auxiliary items rather than the base new armor. Gear up! This is more important here than any other biome.And once the NPCs are dead or the bases damaged, you can pick up some very important loot. If you get into trouble, you can run back to these bases for some help. You'll hear some mobs long before you see them. Or to be more precise, run but don't sprint. When you start exploring the mist, walk don't run.Use the portal for quick travel back and forth and corpse recovery. The Bonemass buff and healing potions are very important here. Build a portal here (outside the Mistlands). Travel along the border until you find a clear spot and explore there. When you first go to the Mistlands, avoid the mist.Pick it up and follow the building chain. If you already did this, check the placeholder item he dropped.

If your game doesn’t start, please make sure you don’t have any mods installed. If you cannot find any unexplored Mistlands, you might need to start a new world. If you have already discovered an area, it will not generate the updated biome. Once again, please remember that you need to visit unexplored areas in order to actually find the new Mistlands content. This is to prevent individuals from being exposed to said spoilers if they wish to avoid them. Spoilers are totally allowed and should be contained here for anyone browsing the rest of the sub.
